fire drill

its friday yay. no homework due next week except math and my super overdue english D: anyway, english is getting awesomer, cause dustin chin is like interesting. i dunno how describe it, its like this guy with humour but also teaching something, unlike bay. anyway, for today's english we learnt about paradoxes, oxymoron, irony etc... the example sentences we wrote there are quite crappy, but paradoxes are too chim for my taste. puns are the most epic. take a look at this sentence:

"i wondered why the ball was getting larger and larger. then it hit me"

LOL. double meaning sentence and retarded epicness. anyway, thats about all we learnt, but considered interesting. i dun play phone in english now :D

got fire drill during end of our break, so skipped half of math. somehow hardik found out so we all knew when. tried to buy the ice sticks, but finished them before the thing. was taking the lift to fifth floor, and pressing the open button, which was switched with the down button, when the fire alarm rang. shocked me cause i tot i pressed the alarm bell accidentally, but was fire drill, so the lift just stopped there. i ran out immediately btw, while the rest of damn stood there in the lift being confused LOL. so retarded.

anyway, the rest of them were sitting on the concourse waiting, and wei ren was there too cos we told him, so they just walked casually down o.o none of them got the timing right though, cos they finish their ice sticks before the alarm rang. only yong chern managed to buy ice cream at the right time. super suan, cos it was damn hot outside. quite successful la, cos only half the school know. there were even teachers wearing fireman caps. i tot i saw cai too, and yx confirmed it, cos he recognise the belly. ooo

math was quickly over before it started, so we were like slacking off, since not much time for math left. he released us abit early, so i was slacking again...

anyway, there was evolution bio. probably the most simplest to understand bio so far cos its just theories and classification(like analogous/homologous), and we watched the darwin documentary so we kind of know how they thought in the past. anyway, today was like enforcing what we learnt last week. so nothing much, and i forgot what she said liao...

there was chinese, which was also quite nice. we finished watching the movie liao, so need to do work. basically just writing this compre thing comparing the movie and the story on the textbook, but after awhile he just let us copy straight. still fun la. me and jordan laughing a the movie. no chinese in this laptop so ill just write what made jordan break down in han yu pin yin. its when the boy was matchmade, but turns out he met her before. so he was like mesmerised and said:

nu ren shi ba sui bian, er bu shi xiao bian, shi da bian! (with the emphasis on the back part)

after that no more lesson zah. our media outing cancelled T_T cos raining... so ill never get to see those train tracks anymore. but anyway, we will have make-up outing next week. jordan and daryl joined btw. jordan did introduction, but with that shy hesitation again... other than that, the lesson was about voting ppl to do certain roles for CIP. yeo was made logistics along with some other girl from yr 3, so that would be hard to work out... and me and wong doing teaching lol. wong damn pro one zah, especially when he talk about homework, or games, so no worries. ended at 5pm. that was real early.

walked around and played bridge until rain stopped, and it was almost 6 by then... the court was wet, but was damn comfortable playing man. i felt in good condition, so i could pass properly. wong in the team damn good, cos he can like delay, and can shoot from damn far somemore. anyway our team's teamwork was quite good. jordan as usual, walled everything.

was damn late by then, like 8:30, so we went home. my mum sent pin home on the way, cause his dad sent me before. so its like shared, especially next time come back from hostel quite convenient. hostel is not too long away. just a few more weeks... cant believe its end of week 3 already...
