it's this time of the year again lol.
so ya i feel like my personality has changed quite abit from last year. of course, i'm still this dumb, forgetful and annoying idiot (i'm sure many ppl have other things to add lol), yet somehow still managed to make a few good friends haha, and ya that will probably not ever change.
but ya i feel like i've become much more relaxed toward life, less uptight or dramatic or stressed, and it does feel quite good, though in some sense i'm like ignoring some greater part of life that someday i have to face. i definitely was lazier this year haha, partially due to much shorter school days (many might disagree). i feel like i've become more retarded, maybe cos i enjoy the responses i get from being retarded haha. somehow i'm laughing all this off, even though sometimes i realise that i shouldn't keep being such a retard either.
anyway, this year has been great actually. i've feel like i've let off some deadweight that has been holding me back and experienced lots of fun moments. lots and lots. i probably don't remember half of them, but i know there where plenty of moments where i laughed so hard my stomach hurt, and i think i caused many many occasions of public nuisance. u know those kind like u see and go 'who is this retard', but when ur actually involved everything seems understandable lol.
i feel the need to recap haha, even though i dont want to make it seem like certain events had more weightage than others. and also cos i end up listing so many things :0
anyway at the start of the year, i had many fun moments with my class, and with 05 too, cos for some reason i feel so familiar with them and they treat me nicely (i think). some of us initiated weekly rm, which lasted half a year, and it was quite fun when it lasted, though we ran out of ideas or din't act on them. either way, at least we tried to get it to happen.
got obsessed with mock karuta for awhile. shan't elaborate cos it sounded dumb to everyone except the few of us who played, or maybe only i dont think its dumb haha. had some moments practicing for talent search too lol. hardcore going to all sorts of studios to practice. it was quite interesting, but expensive, and ya i feel bad for doing the least work :0. then i had chalets, and my sep. it wasn't as amazing as i was hyped for, all that jap cramming and planning and thinking of what to buy back when in the end i din't get the time to do so. but looking back it was quite enjoyable and memorable.
the second half of the year was pretty damn free, or at least it felt like. cos i had so many outings omg. i felt like i went out more this year then the rest of my life combined. eating all sorts of stuff, buffets and whatnot. having outings to play soccer, or playing cards for the whole day, or only mahjong, shingeki, halo, making takoyaki, sleepovers, bbqs and so on. especially after exams ended. we hanged out so often that i din't feel like i graduated. we still hang out often actually.
but ya, we graduated, though to me it doesn't feel like a drastic change has occurred, like i thought it would when i was still in school. it does feel like there's a whole long list of history behind us though, and there were many moments where we would talk about epic fails that happened last time. there's quite a few people that i've come to know, but still the same bunch that somehow managed to stick together cos they are the most fun ppl to hang out with haha.
i wish i could somehow keep all the good memories though it is very easy to forget cos we keep making new ones. like my grad trip lol. there were lots of new experiences and stuff to remember, but in the end i din't feel like i've gone at all after i came back and had one outing. not that the trip was not amazing by itself, but i feel like i've already returned to normal cos i laughed so much yesterday. i do hope that things could stay this way, though ns and no school will probably make it much harder to keep in contact.
anyway, enough recap. now that there's no more school i kinda need to keep myself occupied i guess, in some sort of productive way. work probably is one, but at this moment now i feel like i want to try becoming serious about something that i really like to do.
i haven't given this much thought, but recently i've seen many things, like young ppl being able to do all sorts of amazing things. even the ppl in nus high, i think many of them have all sorts of hackz talents (some have multiple) like drawing, cooking, photog, performing music, computer stuff, etc etc. and then i realise im not so young anymore (even though i look like a 7 year old lol).
some ppl may compliment me occasionally, but really, i don't feel like i have anything much special about me, and actually it feels like people my age are supposed to be able to do like lots of things. i'm somewhat near my prime after all. i should be able to do much more after all tskkkk. like looking my age? or be at least decently fit like guys my age? earning money? thinking about society and stuff? idk actually, but i guess im not really prepared or bothered for some reason.
anyway, i think i know what i could possibly try getting better at. like anime. other than watching, i love the songs. i think i can imagine the melody better than when i actually listen to the thing haha. and i like the whole package in general haha. i could work on my japanese. or maybe get better at playing a certain instrument. i actually like each one of them, drums, piano, guitar. i'd like to sing of course, but i'm pretty damn amateur. but it was somewhat my dream to make some sort of anime band during uni haha. i know i'll be pretty damn satisfied if i could achieve that
i'm also pretty into games, cos i like doing all sorts of guai-lan things. ya im an addict and all sorts too lol, though even though i play so much (ok maybe not as much as i thought), i feel like im one of the noobest players out there lol. not comparing to the world of course, but even amongst ppl i know, im pretty scrub haha. even still, i think i could be interested in coding and stuff, or coming up with a game. im pretty excited about future gaming technology actually, virtual reality, holograms, all that cool stuff. i was actually thinking i don't mind working in that field, even though it sounds kinda risky haha.
the only thing that's stopping me is my laziness and procrastination though. frankly, i kinda want to get good at this things without putting in the effort, but that's not fair to those who do. i guess its cos i don't persevere long enough to get decently good, so i'm still pretty amateur in all of them.
but its abit demoralizing when u play for hours to try to play an anime song transcription but fail so bad. spam a jap app so i got all sorts of vocab memorized but still not really know how to respond to real life situations. thinking up drum beats but not knowing what to do when u actually get the chance. or coding, but facing all sorts of bugs.
so i hope that now that im free-er, i can get the motivation to put in the effort haha. i know i have an interest in these things so i should go all out. after all, i want to try to be at least able to do something a little bit special. probably some sort of inner desire haha. i guess that's as close to a new year's resolution as i can get lol.
k i think i've wrote more than enough already haha. it's one of the rare few times i feel like i've managed to express what im thinking so im pretty satisfied too heheh. so yea its one and a half hours before the new year. i should go watch the tv now. so yea. see u guys next year :D ~~

japan in 17 days
came back from japan today, and wow it has been a blast. there were many fun moments, rush moments, yolo-ing, and also torturous moments. but one thing's for sure, it was pretty damn eventful and memorable haha.
i guess i won't be going through the details in here, it would seriously take forever. each day would be the length of the posts i make, so multiply by 17, i won't be able to finish writing them either lol. so ya this post would be a summary of the stuff we did there. a long one i think lol.
we started off at kyoto, at first just me, jm and wong, all hyped up about the trip. we had our first onigiri in the train station after getting off the airport, and woa we had so much feels, and it made us all high and happy. then after that we roamed around kyoto, which was somewhat familiar, yet the experience of walking there alone without teachers or parents or anyone to guide us was somewhat interesting. met up with the rest at the end of the day after exploring shijo and gion by ourselves, and for the first few days, we probably were the number one public nuisance in japan lol.
in kyoto, we met up with our buddies for a dinner, heard some kinda -ahem- interesting stuff, then went to the arcade and took some super embarassing purikara (the machines that take those photos). yea the rest will kill me if i upload it anywhere haha.
after leaving kyoto, we went to osaka, and for this first half of the trip, everyday was pretty hiong. we woke up early, took bullet trains to other districts, and return back to the hotel quite late every night.
our first half of the trip was mainly sightseeing, taking all sorts of retarded photos, falling behind the itenerary and ended up cancelling many things. and there was lots of failing, arguing, teasing each other (lots of new jokes appear cos of the plenty of fails that happened),gaying, going into all sorts of shops, having suppers (with alchohol and other kinds of stuff) haha. was kinda tiring but lots of fun.
just to give an idea on what the days were like: on the last day in osaka, we went to hiroshima, which was all the way west (1.5hrs bullet train from osaka), saw deer, get attacked by deer, met a tsun-deer, went to a famous place to get lunch which ended up being closed, ate good food anyway, ate oysters (1kg for 1000 yen) for dinner, ended up missing the second last bullet train that we thought was the last and gave us a fright of our lives, reached back hotel at 12 am. ok that was a pretty extreme day haha, and wtf, so much yolo a day i was worried we would not survive the trip lol.
for the next half of our trip, we left for tokyo, and this was where our trip changed from sightseeing to almost purely shopping, and actually more like waiting for others to finish shopping lol. and yea there was something really unhygienic about those oysters we ate in hiroshima that for the first 3 days of tokyo, each one of us got owned by either vomitting or diarhea, or both lol.
during that time it was kinda sian, or more like really sian, cos those who felt well enough to go out got tired really quickly, we had to take all sorts of toilet breaks, food suddenly became not appetizing, and alot of time got wasted. for me i din't exactly miss out much, though the day i went down i vomitted 4-5 times, those really painful ones where nothing came out. such that the next day when i laughed my diaphragm felt painful haha. but yea when we all finally recovered, all the jokes and teasing came back double, and we were also doubly high and stuff. in some sense, it was quite an experience lol.
we resumed our itenerary, but turns out that no matter which city in tokyo we go, we barely did anything else but look for more anime stuff to buy lol. we went to like akiba 3 to 4 times until we actually got sian of it. and we also blew alot of money haha. jm and zhengwei blew on gundams and other huge stuff, while pin and jookee kinda spammed albums, even though they had the songs. i din't really buy much, cos i cleared most of my stuff before reaching tokyo, but even still i succumb to seemingly cheap temptations, like 400 yen figmas, 100 yen mangas, 2000+ yen nendos.
i guess the day with the most sightseeing in tokyo was odaiba, which was essentially the last day for the three going back one day earlier. it was this really cool island where everything seemed new and nicely arranged, and there din't seem to be any old streets or temple-ish kind of places. it's like academy city in railgun haha, though a better way to describe it is probably shin-japan haha. we din't exactly do much there, but it was really pretty, we did a bit of railgun pilgrimage, played at an arcade which jookee won some gigantic alpaca, went to see a gigantic gundam.
then at the end of the day, we had some pretty ingenious christmas celebration, cos jookee seemed kinda disappointed we din't have any christmas mood at all. so yea we had a christmas tree made out of onigiri, cake, some wine that zhengwei bought, and 50 pieces of karaage. cos we were suicidal and all. after eating like half the pack, i felt like never eating fried chicken again lol. but it was actually quite a fun christmas celebration after all. much crazy and high. among all the other supper celebrations that we occasionally had haha.
all in all, it was pretty damn fudged up, but fun, sometimes troublesome, sometimes unexpectedly crazy. quite a cool grad trip i've had haha. i definitely have much more to tell, but that's probably going to be done in person heheh. k la that's all for now. see u guys soon :D

before the trip
less than 24 hours to the trip of my life. feeling all sorts of nervousness and excitement haha. i rushed packing today also, but in the end i think im quite well prepared haha. just worried about whether i can handle the cold over there, and not get myself into trouble :P
anyway, i thought of making a post just before the trip cos i feel like alot of things will be different when i come back. i have been quite lazy + slack recently haha, can't even be bothered to make blog posts even though i have so much time. but i better make this one, cos i want to remember how awesome november was for me haha :D
for one, i somehow graduated, which somehow just came and went. i thought i'd be more emotionally attached, but after spending time with the gang, i realised that hmm, it din't really feel like i won't be seeing them again.
maybe i got too used to being able to slack around like this haha. but yea, we had alot of outings during november, and it felt really great. the week before prom, we were damn hardcore. played soccer for 10 hours, mahjong for 8 hours, and cards for 8 hours for that whole week alone haha. i was shag everyday i went home, but it was well worth it :D
then prom week. wasn't as fun for me as the pics suggest, but wow the pics are really good, and somehow it was also quite memorable, + the after party we had after that. played games, snacked on chips, drank alchohol, and watched a damn good movie called the millers. idk why i like it so much haha. ya know what im sayin'?
then after that i discovered the shingeki game, and somehow managed to spread it to wong, chee and junwei, and we played like nuts for one week haha. even had a combined shingeki + mahjong outing. and also went to board games cafe with daryl, chee seng and others haha. with junwei there's always his "oh yea, jizz jizz" haha. after that i remember we went to justacia and heard about huang's damn funny 'love story'. damn good la, laugh until my stomach hurt :D
last week, i went to pin's house twice lol. one was to play mahjong (again) and make takoyaki, with like wong and junwei making all sorts of jokes about balls. second time was to cook really good lasagna, which i dint really help much, more like i was playing piano and wii heheh.
there was also my probably last class outing. it was pretty memorable actually, since with daryl's help, i ended up getting the film roll thing from ikea, choosing and printing the photos as gifts for the scholars. its damn nice when put up haha. the whole class should have got one, but only the scholars got.
last minute planning of bbq also, like the day before night time i started preparing. have to thank my dad haha, since he helped me got all the food. was damn successful, the bbq. the satays and fishes were damn nice, and then somehow we managed to hide the gifts from the scholars, which they had no clue about until the end of the bbq haha. after that we all dilly dallied and rush for the bus before parting for the last time. it was quite memorable, really.
woa not bad ur still here after reading through so much. yea all my memories that i want to keep, before going for this trip and forgetting all of them. i decided to bring a diary heheh, since train rides will have nothing to do. i think i will blog about the trip, though no guarantees lol.
in some sense i feel like im leaving behind something, and when i come back, i feel like things might change and i wont be seeing much of u guys again D:. but not until i pass u guys ur souvenirs :P. i guess i will really miss u guys when the time comes (february ns D:).
k anyway its about 5 hours before i go off to the airport. i'll miss you guys haha. bye ~~

what anime to watch
Tonight i felt random and decided to make this post...
Recently I've been spamming and clearing a lot of anime i always wanted to watch, and i kinda found out the kind of anime that i really like, the ones that i find very worth watching. So I'm going to make a list of anime that i think are damn freaking good, but of course it's subjected to those that i already watched before, and my personal opinion. It's irrelevant to most ppl anyway :0.
Anyway, it's true that it is hard to drop anime cos ur still curious to know what the story is about, so ya i end up marathoning some animes i wanted to quit. Quite stupid i know >.<. And after that u don't feel so good cos u wasted quite a bit of time. So of cos must watch all the nice one's first ma.
So my definition of nice is two types. One is the hardcore story type that are mindblowing or simply awesome. That'll be like psycho pass, steins gate, madoka and shingeki, which are all top anime so ppl probably have already watched them. This kind are not as common but they are usually always good, except some are really long and boring, like naruto, which is nice but i don't have enough time to watch all of it and it just isn't really worth the time. But really u feel damn impressed watching this type of anime. Its like reading a really good book except better.
Code geass is also pretty damn good, but it's longer than usual and alot of ppl die. Happens. Mononoke and bakemonogatari are also damn good storywise, but they are somewhat queer so not everyone may like them.
Then there's the second type which is much more common, the slice of life funny kind. Kind of subjective per person, but i think that there are some really nice ones then everyone would like. Its even nicer if there's some really nice story behind it. Usually takes like two episodes or more before it starts getting really nice, so don't be too quick to judge but yea u can't just watch mindblowing anime only cos this kind are pretty damn funny, and makes ur mood really good (at least for me). Can make u cry too haha.
Really nice ones are sakurasou, garupan (though the start is slow and might make many ppl drop it), yuruyuri (has no story but its damn retarded lol).
The rest im listing are a little subjective but i think they are damn good too. There's oreimo (season 1 was not bad season 2 was really damn epic), chuunibyou (quite good for 12 eps), servant x service (about civil servants and quite interesting). There's more that i felt are damn good but im not sure if i should recommend cos not everyone may like them.
There are many that i haven't watched cos i think it won't be worth my time, so i might have missed out one or two that might have been entertaining to me, but that isn't really significant i guess (since there's so many).
There's the third kind which i can't really group in either groups like chihayafuru. A lot of ppl i know love this show or at least feel its a good anime. Its darn good okay, and i can't pinpoint why. It just absorbs u in after u give it like 4 episodes to introduce u to it. Ok im somewhat obsessed with it, but ya the part about many ppl liking it is true lol.
So ya i think the best combo is to have a mix of the two kinds cos all mindblow does not work but same for all funny cos they might get repetitive after awhile and sometimes u need some hardcore plot to make u feel the excitement of watching good anime. And watch those that ppl recommend cos chances are they are better, unless its like jookee who watches everything and his idea of good is slightly twisted.
After im done with what i have now im thinking of watching shinsekai yori and railgun (1st cat), oregairu and clannad (2nd cat), since its better to watch all the good stuff first. I might run out more quickly, though new stuff will keep getting released. And there's always running man, which i still have a loooong way to go, ive been watching for so long and im still just halfway there, like ep 77/160+.
So i guess what im trying to say is since there are so many good things to watch out there, watch things u know are gonna be worth ur time since u'll probably not going to ever finish anyway. Yep that's all for now and i still need to wake up early tmr. Actually not really but i get to play more if i do haha. Kk bye ~~

media camp
reviving my blog after so long. stopped ever since sep and after i got a new phone, where i started gaming like mad. so anyway, the past few months have been quite interesting actually. i kinda overindulged lol. went to jap buffet, justacia, pizza buffet, played a LOT of games, x-box parties and stuff.
anyway, last weekend there was media camp. at first i thought it was really sian cos i came all the way from the east with all my sleepover stuff and camera and not getting any seats, made to run 4 rounds, and played some really tiring husband and wife game. but actually it was pretty fun, especially the second day.
so after all the work for stopmotion on the first day, we had a bbq with really good food and ppl shooting each other with water guns. there was even this gigantic water gun that jiamin brought, and damn, its powerful. and funny ppl like ernest kept going 'what hahpen' and singing the op for free! lol.
after that was the night activity that was similar to the one in pre-o camp. which was not bad la, all the running, but there's always this part where everyone gets hopeless and like gives up, until the last part where we just spammed any idea in order to defeat the facils. especially me haha. i was just randomly saying words even though they obviously won't work lol.
amazing race was really good, even though it was at school. cos the clues are solvable, and the tasks are challenging, but also doable. and the water games were legit. everyone really got soaked wet. at the end of the race there was some water fight section and lots of stuff got broken, but it was really fun haha.
at the end of the day we finished up our stop-motions, and then went to the sem room to watch, where sk was sleeping so soundly with his arms inside his shirt that everyone did retarded stuff to him and he din't even realise lol. before they screened our stop motions we also watched some retarded videos like 'what the fox say' and 'stonehenge'. was basically just a laughing session lol.
anyway, some group's stopmotions were really entertaining, such as waiyin's mario-kart parody. there was a pokemon-parody, and our group's one was a tetris-parody. and there was one that's censored lol, so they din't end up playing it.
finished up with some shingeki like thing that the facils made, and the first 20 seconds were really good, but then they never finished the film. too bad i guess. maybe one day after exams i can go make one too haha. k la that's all for now. bye ~~

なんでやねん!
so yea, today was the last day with the japs. the farewell was pretty happy and sad at the same time. we took so many photos haha.
kinda feel abit sad that i won't be seeing my buddy tmr anymore. it's been a really fun week. i kinda feel like a tourist cos of all the bus rides and the places we visited haha. was dead tired by the end of everyday, but my mood has been really good for this whole week, and yea, i really enjoyed showing the japs around singapore. had alot of good times :D
highlights were the weekends, science center, marina bay walk, and also, playing frisbee, soccer and chilling in the games room, as well as the card games we played on the bus. there's this variation of taiti called daifugo, which i think is much better than taiti.
anyway, i'll miss my buddy's friendliness and coolness. all the 'yeaaaa's and the fistbumping haha. i guess we click quite well. all the attempts at translating and trying to explain stuff in science center, or in lessons. and won't forget the なんでやねん!that he thought me haha. basically its some exclamation u use when someone tells a bad joke or doing something dumb.
the other's were quite a fun bunch too. ryouta was really nice to talk to cos he explained many funny things about the japs to me haha. and there's also tomoki, who's likes to disturb his friends, and they all just smack him haha. he's a bit like a buff version of wong. damn funny joker, that guy. also had a really fun time with a lot of ppl from the group :D
so yea, tmr sch resumes. waa i'll really miss hanging out with my buddy, but school is pretty enjoyable as well. kinda missed out quite abit in this one week haha. we still need to do that prank on wong :P
anyway, hope i can keep in touch with my buddy :D. and i'll definitely visit them during the year end. it's really convenient that they are all in the same class heheh. so ya that's all for now. bye~~
kinda feel abit sad that i won't be seeing my buddy tmr anymore. it's been a really fun week. i kinda feel like a tourist cos of all the bus rides and the places we visited haha. was dead tired by the end of everyday, but my mood has been really good for this whole week, and yea, i really enjoyed showing the japs around singapore. had alot of good times :D

science center and west coast market
today was quite a fun day as well, despite how boring the schedule seemed. the start of the day seems like such a long time ago actually haha.
in the morning, after the introduction in the hall, we went to eat breakfast with the japs, which was mostly fooling around and taking unglam pictures, watching videos and one piece for the guys, and a mass gossiping session for the girls lol.
after that took normal lessons la. pe was netball, which is probably one of the more interesting sports they could teach. and yes, valles' lesson, but surprisingly i din't sleep. maybe cos i was in a good mood haha. at the same time, the japs were like visiting the cool stuff in the labs, and went to that demo room where u take the air gun and shoot at ppl, and the gyroscope, hovercraft and stuff.
at 12, we had lunch, where my buddy shingo downed like 4 mango puddings lol. yes the japs love mangoes that much. and they were also talking about how my buddy is popular with the girls from our school lol. anyway, halfway through, jookee, wong and zheyuan came to crash. cos ya he's sad that he couldn't crash anything. though we kinda told the japs that he likes jap girls and he just ran out of the room. lol.
anyway, we left for science center at 1, though not that many locals went. at first it was seriously only me and chee, and some ppl -ahem- wanted to go back to hostel to sleep lol. but in the end managed to get 7 ppl to go.
anyway, i thought that science center was actually quite interesting, even though i've been there like a thousand times already. actually, singapore's science center is much more interesting than science center's in other countries, at least for those i went, cos they are much more interesting (but much more confusing to understand). anyway, the most fun part of the trip was trying to explain what the stuff are or how it works. its hard actually, cos we ended up trying to figure out some of the stuff that we never bothered to find out how it works. and translating haha.
i actually kinda like the fact that my jap is like halfway in between. makes it really challenging to explain how the stuff works, but yet just nice so that its possible. cos of all the 'ohhhhh' moments haha. the most fun sections were still the optical illusions and the slow motion videos at the first part though. cos they were cool (and much easier to explain :P)
came back to school at 3:40, and we went in to the hall. and since they happened to be doing the talk about ritsumeikan at the same time, everyone was like staring at us lol. but its quite interesting to show them the montage of our trip over there cos our inbound buddies are different.
went to visit cca's after that. crashed quite a few cca's, but in the end, my buddy and chee's buddy decided to stick to soccer, cos my buddy is in soccer club in rits, and he's pretty damn good, like a junwei :D. so they joined for soccer training for awhile lol, and the soccer coach was being strict with them lol, like he's their real coach haha.
they din't join in the matches though, but after that, bradley was free, so we spent some time doing practice shooting with bradley as the keeper. he's a damn good keeper now btw. saved almost everything except two or three balls, so when they scored they were quite happy haha.
left for the music room at 5:30, where all the musical talents started coming out. more of on our side ba. dawn, yx and anh all started playing piano pieces, while isaac's buddy was doing drums. with a inverted brush and a fan lol. as well as a broken bass. but still, not bad :D
after that, we went to eat dinner at west coast, where -ahem- were like stalking us but pretending not to intentionally be there lol. din't eat zhu cao as intended, but it wasn't too bad la. let my buddy try mango juice (even more mango :0) after dinner, we all went to west coast plaza to look around at the movie shop, which they found cheap compared to japan. cos movies there can cost like $20 or more, and the blu-rays are like $100+, and they still buy them. for us, it's free though, because some programs exist that are possibly not perfectly legal lol. but of course we din't tell them that.
after that, we went to the supermarket, which i thought was quite a good idea. and wcp has so many jap goods. there's like a sushi section as well as a jap good section with sauces, curry and stuff. and yea spent quite some time comparing prices here and there lol. and teaching them how to make the instant chicken rice, or instant chicken curry. don't know how we managed to spend so much time, but we were just back in time for roll-call lol.
ok sry for making u read all this. its all my excited brain's ramblings haha. looking forward to bringing my buddy to class tmr haha. kk that's all for now. bye ~~
