before the exams

had quite a lot of fun yesterday and today. yep, its the calm before the storm haha.

yesterday was fiona's birthday, and the celebration turned out pretty well. cake was great :D (since it costed $100). fiona was really impressed by the polaroid camera as her present haha. spent the time taking a few photos and chatting. since lee has been like worrying over this for like the past two days, so was pretty good that everything went well haha.

today, we played many, many different games for RM. i think we mangaed to play about 4, and suddenly we have many ideas for games now haha. had quite a lot of fun trying out the random new ideas. something to boost our morale and look forward to the end of exams. i haven't started preparing D:

so yea from tmr onwards gonna whack the stats booklet. im super slack already, so yep, good luck to everyone for next week. there's alot of stuff to look forward to after exams, like going to ritsu :DD.

jiamin's 18th

today was a pretty fun day, other than the fact that everyone died during PE cos of sim. i don't think he knows how hard it is to do 40 dips in a minute. or that its impossible to do 40 burpees, even if unlimited time was given lol.

anyway, today was jiamin's birthday, and we all din't prepare anything for him, so at around 1:30, while he was having bio till 3, met up with chee seng, lee and pin to get jiamin's cake. yeaaa the drink 2.5L of water everyday gang haha. and also the zen 5 gang lol (except pin hehe). we bought the cake at some shop called oishii. din't realise it was the exact same cake we got for junwei last year until later lol.

anyway, came back at about 2:35. left the cake with the drink stall auntie and went back up to class. it was still early so we decided to play cards. then at 2:50 we realised bio alr ended :0. so yea everyone was panicking cos jiamin was about to go home. had to get jookee to drag him back haha.

so initially we decided to like fake scam jiamin by making him come to class only to realise we din't do anything, then bring him down to the canteen and ya. quite dumb actually now that i think about it lol. our surprise failed miserably cos that guy wanted to go home and sleep on his birthday -.-. instead of drinking. or smoking. or.. u get the point. but ok la cos of PE we ran like 9 rounds today :0

so yea la we just all walked to the canteen, cos there would be no other reason to hold him back lol. at first we were all just sitting there, and we thought jookee would be the one to bring the cake out, but no, he decided eating chicken rice was more important :3. so jiamin was like acting unimpressed lol.

but ya la after that we got everything set up and stuff like that. was darn messy like last time, but we're like heck care, cos last time junwei's cake we also like that. and making cherry jokes lol. so yea wasn't really anything very special, but it was pretty fun haha.

aunt's birthday

started alot of different animes recently. yesterday i just tried out 4 or 5 new animes. i know what im is good, but the first few episodes din't give me much impression. so i felt quite sian yesterday, cos nothing really hooked me. but good animes always take quite awhile for the story to form, and starting to like a few.

anyway, today was my maid's birthday. i kinda forgot actually, and at first i wasn't really thoughtful. as in i know its a special day, but it just doesn't occur to me what things i should do, like i din't think about doing something until much later. i was kinda the only one who knew in my family la, but i forgot to like sms my mum to prepare something. so yea it was quite late before my mum actually got me to do something.

i was quite happy with what i did haha. i think it made my auntie (that's what i call my maid) quite happy. and my mum was like 'not bad ah, still can do this sort of thing'. actually it felt pretty embarrassing lol. plus i only like helped, its not like i did the whole thing myself. im not very good at doing this sort of things. always need someone to like tell me what to do or help me, or else i'll end up thinking about it but not doing it.

anyway, i also kinda tried out playing steins gate op and other songs, but couldn't really do it. i mean i could play left, i could play right, but when i put both together i just kept stumbling my way. but damn its hard. and short fingers make octave a pain >.<. so i dunno whether i'll give up halfway, though at the same time i kinda really want to be able to play certain songs.

last cluster celebration

this week feels like its passing really fast. its like friday already. maybe cause there was a few things to study for this week. i guess studying makes ur time feel really short because u don't do other things.

i kind of don't like the concept of surviving today for the next day, and having to prepare for the day after the next. its quite sian. but i guess that's what its going to become as we approach the exams. not saying that the week hasn't been fun, just that it felt really short and eventless.

today was pretty interesting though. lessons were of course very sian la. but today, kind of spent more time with people in my class and cluster. and then pe lesson was quite fun too, though it was super hot >.<. after dinner, went to shop for stuff for the cluster celebration, and then we had it after that la. now that i typed it, it doesn't feel like much actually...

but anyway, while travelling there, i made a really stupid bet with jm that might cause me a hell lot of trouble next time >.<. about the bus service not being disrupted, but it turned out it actually did. gah enough about that.

anyway, we went there to shop for drinks and also bought other stuff as well la. and also we wanted to get lao ban tao huey because we just learned of its existence just recently, and that stuff is awesome, im telling u. i never knew it was called lao ban tau huey until recently though. but damned it was closed. so yea...

cluster celebration started at 10. our effort of spending almost exactly $220, buying all the gifts and spamming drumlets :D. it was good heheh. i tried to insulate it cos we got it earlier, but the food kind of turned cold though. wished it was hotter.

no one mentioned anything about the birthdays though, so i had to door-to-door give them their presents. i realise i haven't revealed what the presents are yet, except loo's laces. so basically we got shuen and issac nerf guns (more like 小さい pistols), because it feels right to buy them that. we got zheng wei a madoka figurine, which i think he likes a lot.

then for kevin, we din't really know, so we got this lego-like thing that forms an electric guitar. and got a panda one for png too. though he preferred it if we got him a pokemon toy, which we were going to get at first. damn should have bought that piplup. foo got a glaceon. and pin got the angel beat handphone strap. turned out he loves it now, and he found a way to attach it to his handphone. it looks darn good lol.

so anyway, i kind of acted like a santa claus with my plastic bag of presents lol. but hey it was so worth the time shopping for presents that they would like haha. and it was much cheaper than expected. as long as they like the present, the price doesn't matter. i forgot to take off the price tags though, damn...

anyway, nothing much else, other than my juggling has improved, and i got a pair of socks thrown out of the window.... ok bye ^^.

yesterday i went out for whole day lolz. din't actually think i'd actually go out to get the presents for cluster ppl, but i did :D. anyway, pin went to somerset to take photos for his silence theme. so yea i tagged along and might as well get my presents on the way.

so we reached somerset at abt 2, and then we walked around taking photos because jookee wasn't there yet. can't remember much, but basically there was one part where we just took the escalators in orchard central from first floor all the way to 11th floor... actually when it got higher, i realised i din't dare to let go and just stand there. so brave right :/

after that pin was kind of done with photo taking, so we went to buy presents. met jookee at OG. we spent forever to buy the first present, which was laces for loo, then after that we went to the toy section. din't expect to buy the rest of the presents there lol. i guess guys play with toys too :P

anyway, it was much cheaper than expected. was less than $10 for each person, when i actually wanted to spend more on presents instead of the food. cos its nerf guns, and pokemon figurines, and stuff... but i think they'll like it :D. feels more fun than just buying arbitrary gifts that they won't use.

so after that we decide that we wanted to buy pin a hyouka album, which is not cheap btw. so we went all the way to HMV, only to realise it wasn't there. and we wasted time there, cos jookee ended up playing the ps-vita there while we just walked around testing the earphones and headphones..

anyway, we ended up going to this shop with some anime stuff. though we spent like forever deciding on what to buy since pin doesn't know half of those that are up there. was saying it was impossible to find something with toradora, but turned out there actually was, some mouse pad and mouse cover. too bad the pictures were abit ahem, so we din't get it.

then in the end we ended up getting distracted and looking at dm cards, so when we saw the angel beats handphone strap, we just hecked it and bought it lolz. even though he can't really use it. and it was twelve dollars lolz. but whatever la i think it'll look nice lol.

so ya it was $70 in total, which means we got $130 for pizza :D. i took forever to post this, i dunno why. ok bye.

just got back from pe and resting now. gonna post bout today first cos it was darn long, but quite fun.

anyway, new sitting arrangement is quite good haha. got so many ppl talk to. i guess i dont need change the sitting plan liao ba, even though i havent tried the new one out yet.

first lesson was math. finally got over P and C, which is darn slow and mind-effing. now its probability and mr loo keep talking about casino and cards and toto lolz. like encouraging us to gamble :o.

and yea english was quite dumb, cos mr valles keeps going on about those rubrics and all that. how does he talk for half an hour on 5 lines o.o. everyone was so sian and doing random stuff in between, like bouncing erasers off ppl's heads or sticking stuff on their back. anyway he was doing some cloze activity where we have to think of the right words to put in the notes, which was pretty retarded, so yep sometimes we came up with retarded answers lolz. and yea cos of that stress ball he passed around, we're gonna call him mr balles from now. doesnt sound too good XD

today's youth day booth not so interesting ba only got popcorn stand and some photo booth which is actually nothing much. they're screening 3 idiots now, but my class wants to watch in tv room tmr so not gonna watch.

after lunch break was chem hons. my god it was darn hard. the MO thing she never explain properly lor. but lucky i sit next to two chem o peeps, and what i understood from them seems darn different from the way she teach... this module's definitely the hardest module this sem.

anyway, kept getting verbally abused from behind :O. who else could it be lolz. hah but they got their retribution. jm got called out to do a qn lololz. actually i also got called but i got rescued cos i seriously dint know how do :P. whatever la at least i dint get completely lost. haiz still got quiz next week lololz. we're all screwed heheh.

after that got PE. at first nothing much la just height and weight. i grew 1 cm! muahahahha so much right? ok no im still freakin short, but i dont really care ba hehe.

mr sim talked so darn long for housekeeping issues. basically all the random stuff related to PE. but the game was really fun cos got so many rules. was much more fair than any other version of captain ball we've ever played, plus this way everyone as important in the match, so not bad :D. and yea score was 1-1, cos it was really harder to score. thats good cos no team did more than 5 push-ups plus ended with draw. so yay looking forward to next week's pe.

but anyway the most important thing is later gonna have some party at the pantry for birthday boys. happy birthday jookee :D (and yea not going to write that on his fb cos he is reluctant to type 'thanks :D' to everyone. typical XD)

the second visit to the village

hi its only been three days but argh, im lagging for my posts already.

visit to OCS just ended. my roommate and toiletmates are sleeping, with about another three quarters of the school downstairs. have nothing to do till 8pm for some assembly briefing, so have lots of time to catch up :)

so gonna backtrack all the way to weiren's bday first. dont really have much to say about it though... there were alot of camwhore pictures, but i think i shall just exclude them.

so we reached there at about 2+. ordered macs for lunch


at first we were watching weiren play final fantasy on his ps3 (jean with her paradi-gem lolz), and slacking around. then after that they switched to band hero, mostly to entertain the girls


they forced yawen to sing love story by taylor swift, which she absolutely hates :P

so she was like swearing or singing opposite meaning half of the time. and the rest of us helping her sing in the background lolz.

then most of them went to get the bbq food, and for awhile i got damn sleepy cos it was kinda boring to watch them play band hero lolz.

when they came back we started preparing the bbq fire. dint bother using tongs lolz. many ppl dint. so half of the time we were trying to touch each other's faces :P

there were some charcoals that were damn big, so i tried using bricks to cleave them. grounded some into powder though lolz.

after that we started trying to get ppl in the pool. at first it was jookee cos he was being a douche lolz.

but then he did that so we couldnt really touch him

after that yawen got pushed into the pool, too, and subsequently alot of other ppl. even wong got subdued XD.


after that everyone started to do crazy stuff:

then played this game with jookee. i even gave him handicap and let him push first, but he lost so we switched sides.

so everyone got pushed into the water, even jiamin and wong. last two left was weiren and loo, and they were trying to think of some spectacular way to enter. so loo carried weiren


but he just dumped weiren into the water lolz. and walked in. instead of like them jumping together. quite retarded XD

and alot of girls were doing the hair thing. nikki's one completely covered her face lolz

408 day

yo. 200th post liao.  this blog has been running for about a year now so this estimates to roughly one post every two days. cant believe i started with my cheesy "hi, my name is joe" post lolz. and rereading some of the posts makes me remember all the retarded stuff i used to do last time haha.

anyway, yesterday was our cip. nothing much really just cut broccoli, got tired and went inside to peel potatoes, cut potatoes, cut fruits. and talk to those in med school. more like listening in, but yea was kinda interesting. its quite meaningful, but if u ask me to go again ill be reluctant cos its so early. then again i usually waste away my saturdays by sleeping to 10 lolz.

at 6:45 went to eat with class. half the class werent there though. even when it was 7.15 half the class was still not there lolz. then we decided to just camp at the tv room (me, adrian, pin) while the rest go back to their rooms. there was khairul and his gf there at first, so we went tv room and there was 2 sets of balls on the table... so we invented some form of pool with 2 sets of balls lolz.




after that went back to tv room, watching rush hour. lots of random ppl came too, like yu han and peng seng. we were waiting for the rest to come down, and doing retarded stuff at the same time like spamming photos, or throwing pillows, soft toys and snacks around :P

as usual, just came back from eastpoint again, which me and my mum always go to after my lesson.

today's lesson was fun hehe. like ur suppose to bind ur hands behind your back so u cant use momentum of hand movement, then ur suppose to repel a rushing target with a kick. was quite hard cos need to aim properly. but yea the lesson was fun, but i got hit in the neck :o

got made to demo again cos im the only guy in class who dares to really chop the master with the fake knife lol. walao he damn pro de he just move abit then i completely missed, and got hit on the neck with his "light" chop. its not even painful man, just that i can feel something there, even right now, two hours after the hit. like got some invisible "qi" or whatever. nah, im just crapping.

and we did our 3 minutes resting, as usual. just that this week they were extra mindful that u dint open ur eyes. at first i tot they were just testing us, cos mr lee was swinging his pole and hitting the floor, so i presumed he was testing ur reaction whether u were really relaxing or not. but when we opened our eyes, there was actually ang bao next to us :D. omg so nice sia. $8 somemore. not only alot money but also lucky number hahas.

anyway, went to eastpoint drink coffee again, then shop for stuff. my mum forgot to weigh the beans haha just like me with the oranges. but hers is cos got insomnia, so very careless.

then later we went to shop for sister's present. for once, i actually had the heart to buy something for others. my stupid excuse last time was cos i have no money but real reason was cos i dint know what to buy anyway, so laziness hehe.

anyway, decided to get a earring, which is quite good a gift actually. went to this earring shop, or stall, since its just some stand. took quite long to choose one cos my sis doesnt like dangles and golden coloured earrings. i liked the one the shopowner wore though. blue heart with two short crystals. too bad no more stock.

but yea i bought a similar one, 18 dollars (only) hehe. i dint expect earrings to be cheap. always tot they costed quite a lot. but its very nice, and packaging nice too. and after i bought it, felt so good about myself lolz. hope she likes it.

oh yea and damn funny when we were talking about it at the shop. my mum was like trying to bargain with the shop owner, since it wasnt really a fixed price anyway. like my mum was planning to say "he's buying for his sister, but he doesn't have much money, so could u make it cheaper?". but i was like "oh 18 dollar ah. i can afford". so my mum was shaking her head, but i dint realise. omg haha what does this prove XP?

and yea her birthday is tmr. shes out now with her boyfriend. i mentioned before how much i admire her man. super interesting and cool. her boyfriend is lucky man... his name is Simon and his quite nice too. hope to find someone like my sister. quite hard actually haha.

sidenote: cant take pics cos i think i lost my sd card (oh the horror). no seriously, crappppp... i remember pin passing it back to me, then i just put it somewhere so that i could keep it later, then damn, i forgot about it. shit my life man....

kk thats bout that. need to refine my request to jookeh to join his band haha. i dunno why but i find hostel slack time amazing for training music, and its not very difficult, unlike trying to be buff, which sucks, imo. i cant be buff la, its just impossible... but yea i can at least learn how to play something nice, or sing (shit, im too ashamed to type this properly urghhhhh). might as well, so that i can be at least special, in some sense.

im damn unspecial i realise. like if u ask me to describe something special, ill be like .... cos i like too many things? soccer, anime, reading, chess, music etc. but never specialise at any single one of them. like png in soccer, or jookee in anime. even wong. i dun actually want gaming to be my specialty, but wong is different. he's so engrossed he could prolly end up being a game designer. im serious.

even being nice is not enuf, cos there is always nicer people hehe. so im just stuck -.-

was late for SLI, not that we missed anything. SLI was crap, standing and sitting. i wasnt actually pissed at the waste of time, but damn it was soooo boring. and they wanted everyone synchronised, which is damn hard, but yea finally did it.

ate with boon chong, then went back to room to tidy up. dint see boonchong so i tot he went home, and i went to talk to weiren and galen, who was busy with SLI stuff while weiren was chatting with him. then when i was about to go back i saw boon chong again. haha fate. but damn apparently lee and pin was still in sch, even though it was like 2:40 alr.

big crash at home from 5-9. i even went back to sleep after waking up from a loooong dream, and normally that would = 2 hours of morning wasted. like usually when i wake up at 9 at home, then i rest awhile and its 11 alr. but yea it was actually only 4 hours.

anyway, morning was NDP celebration. the first hour was sian la. so crowded and warm, and the marching wasnt very interesting until the real army ppl came out. they super neat one sia but they look quite normal to my surprise. not that army supposed to be super buff or anything, but that was what i was thinking. anyway, NCC also got this dance-army-ish thing. very interesting and they somehow incorporate some army like things into the dance. the ending got flour explosion also XD.

then later got this performance. no funny skit though, so a bit disappointing. but as usual they target the teachers with the questionnaire. the mr dewey i think, didnt even try saying anything. he kind of backed out. so after that the mc, which was dr hang's son went to dr hang and ask him how he is going to spend his holiday with his family, which was like woahh. but then dr hang said he going korea, so that kind of backfired on him. or maybe he knew that already.

anyway, after the songs and such we played soccer. one of the worst games i played cos the heat seemed to come out from the ground, and my shirt was like a greenhouse. there was flour on the grass so i tot to play a prank on hema but i got no guts. thats a good thing right?

after that we all went to queensway to eat. i think i spent $5 quite well? lor mee + soursop drink exactly $5. anyway, ppl like wong super rich buy ice kachang and random stuff before buying macs... the ice kachang toppled and there was this strand of green, yellow, white and red when it melted, so it looked like nyan-cat LOL. loo can nyan quite well XD. other than that we talked rubbish, but very fun.

after that we went shopping mall, but havent bought present, so a group of us decided to distract him, but somehow it became jia min buying shoes ... anyway, wong appeared outside and was like alert for the photos. he expected to see the lens or something, but then lee hid behind the whatever on the display and wong got owned LOL.

after that we went to lee's condo, and i finally know why lee's so pro in sports. his parents very nice one zah, and his father is some swimming coach, who can juggle balls and everything. so cool. anyway i went to his apartment to charge cam and the dogs were damn noisy. and gay. i almost screamed lol. they just rushed out at strangers and go for the ... u know what? never mind.

anyway at the bbq pit downstairs, it was damn nice. super windy on the first floor, plus got some fountain, so there's like mist on the air. very cooling. anyway we played cards the first thing we got there as usual and the rest just talked maple. then we went to play bball. that sport is very violent, but im quite violent >.<  anyway, being douchey and blocking ppl off cos i cant play bball properly... but then managed to do something at the very least. the ball hit a lot of ppl though, so we shudnt play it?

after a while we also played shoot the hema because he was being douchey and shooting 3 pointers and being egoistic. basically just low shot the ball at his legs when he was jumping. anyway, the rest of them went to play badminton. at first we all crowded in there, enjoying aircon. got ppl screaming and the echo was damn long. probably the guard could hear like many voices from downstairs, so he kicked out ppl until only 4 left. all the bridgers went to the study room, where there were tables of 4. ideal for bridging. but then we couldnt make noise because its study room. u see, the glass is suppose to keep noise out to provide quite environment, but for us its to keep noise in so the guard wont notice XD.

went to the badminton court again to play. after awhile everyone just went back and heck care the guard le. damn fun and shuang. after that lee's sister's friends took over, so we went to court to bball again... then went back to the bbq pit or whatever u call it. after that we just slack and play bridge while jiamin was working hard starting the fire(for some reason he loves doing it). anyway, we spam drink like super fast sia, and then the food everyone just rush for the sausage. within minutes all food gone :o . prada couldnt eat anything except corn, sweet potato, egg. but at least he ate.

fiona obsessing about flash and took unglam photos. but i took the one of wong LOL. he was innocently chewing his sausage plus my cam was just next to lee's body, so he couldnt react in time XD. chee and jun wei also kena.

after that we armwrestled. im probably the weakest guy there (maybe weakest overall). anyway, shree kept owning ppl, until wong came and like act cool, like just stone there while shree struggled, then bom. super buff. then lee's father came and owned wong, but he was nice, like not super suan or merciless. "strong boy". anyway, wong's ego just died LOL.

then the rest of us also got addicted. loo kept trying everyone but losing except for me, but i kind of kept it super long. damn funny sia. i purposely make my arm awkward and just keep squirming so i kind of repelled any "attack". then go back to the center and no one pushing. just resting. all laughing like mad too, but then in the end i lost la. i was expecting it anyway...

anyway after that we went to the court and there was this free throw thing to decide who goes to whos team. i actually scored 2 LOL even though my arm half-dead. maybe when its half dead then both sides got equal strength. chee went to zero club LOL, and jookee also. junwei obviously scored two. lee also obviously scored. then hema tried. not fair la he was practising like mad. we all kept wishing he dint score and it worked for like the first two balls. then the rest of us kind of died. lee went sprawling to the floor LOL. heart attack sia. cos that guy just shoot anyhow, thinking he can score so that if he score he can be egoistic and all that. douche.

zero club was good though got chee jookee and wong and they are like pro. but junwei lee can own all so we won. anyway some of them went home early, but most of us stayed back until they opened present.

he took quite long to find it cos we dint promp him at first and he got like all disappointed, so we gave him prompts like cooler, warm, hotter, boiling hot XD. anyway, it was damn cool. completely unguessable. at first he unwrapped the newspaper and found the $20 wallet. nice but disappointing. then he unwrapped it further and found the fedora, which he liked very much, even though we knew he bought it that day instead of GSS (what a weird lie). anyway, he was emotionally happy. so remember this day. happy birthday lee!!
