today i learned two really nice dishes, though two were almost the same from yesterday. my sis likes the veg i cooked yesterday haha. so today there was more of it + dong fen or something like that. then got tempura chicken with mayo and fried fish with spring onions. its nice to learn how to make the dishes that u like :D.
anyway, went to boon chong's house on wednesday. supposed to meet up at serangoon with nicole and boon chong, but cos i was too used to just taking mrt solely for going to school, i stupidly went all the way to outram before i realised i could change at paya lebar. so from early became 6 mins late lol. why does this stuff always happen? >.<
anyway, after eating lunch, met pin, adrian and andreea at the supermarket, then went to boon chong's house. its super nice la. and super big too lol. 4 storeys. that's more than andreea's house haha. its a bit too big for me lol. at first we just wanted to sit there and slack haha.
my job was to cut onions. alot of big onions lol. which i kinda just learned how to the day before haha. i cut like crap though lol. so uneven haha. but nvm de, cos we just chucked everything into the soup. but walao i think it was like around 15 onions lol. took 1 hour just to cut them :0. yea that's the number of onions they chucked into the soup haha.
after that it was time to make the meatballs. added some crumbs at first, like from biscuits, and potato chips... lol. ended up eating while crushing them haha. but din't even taste them anyway :0. andreea mixed them again, as usual, with the raw egg and slimy meat haha. then after that, they gave me the job of making the meat balls to me and nicole. which was a pretty
so ended making really random stuff haha. there were snowmen, nuggets, rings, christmas trees, and gingerbread men haha. then after that there was still alot of meat left, so made the letter 'merry x'mas'. sad thing was almost everything got destroyed after frying. but nvm la make for fun de.
the 'merry x'mas' managed to survive haha, after some reassembling of certain parts that fell out. so after frying, andreea arranged it on the plate and it looks so nice haha. a bit burnt, but still :D. this kinda gives me an idea haha. gonna scrap whatever bbq i was planning and replace it to baking :D. then can make all kinds of random stuff i want haha.
after that we ate upstairs, then after that they started playing the 'i have never' game again haha. and telling stories. anticlimatic stories. like jookee's bus driver one haha. and andreea told 'ghost stories'. and then talked about alot of random stuff too, until ten. i went to follow pin and nicole to pasir ris, and reached home at like 12, and simply crashed
anyway, today, me and my mum went out to eat, and looked around for gifts to buy too, since my mum needed to buy a gift for her party for gift exchange. there was this display at tampines mall, with a lot of nice christmas things that makes u feel happy. feel like buying this kind of gifts, because i know if i get one i'll be like :D :D :D. so yea, today was like one of the few times i actually enjoy shopping haha, other than the 'supply runs' our cluster used to have.
we ended up buying a christmas tree :D. so yayyyyy lol. its like the first time in years since we celebrated christmas properly haha. of course there's no santa claus and stuff like that haha, but the christmas tree is so pretty :D. some parts have like optical fiber filaments that keep changing colour. so nice :D :D.
this really makes me feel like organising some mini-christmas party now haha. seriously, this is like the first time im actually celebrating christmas properly lol. my mum also asked me whether i wanted to host a mini-christmas party.
maybe i shud fix a date. like next friday, eat lunch, look around at gift stores, bake christmas cookies and eat roasted
haven't been watching much anime lately, but anyway, really like this OP :D
