got one very nice one i took (i think.)
anyway, went to sentosa around 10am. somehow it is now free to drive ur car over as long as u dont park in carpark, but nvm. dropped of and went up to universal studios. my eldest cousin wasnt sure whether he could come cos he had a last minute project to do, so we went there first.
took some random photos outside, of that huge universal studios globe and the mist, and then went in. there are a few main areas which are completely different and we visited the madagascar one first. there was this boat ride which is really damn awesome. at first i tot it wouldnt be fun and the queue was very long and it was time-wasting. but then it was damn nice inside. its too dark to take photos inside, and anyway i was paying attention to what they said...
first thing they do once u go in the entrance and it becomes dark, they shock u with some crates that seem to fall on the boat (like a column of 3 crates tipping over at u), but actually they are attached, and then there are more crates ahead with the animals inside. after that every few meters u move, got a animal light up and then move and then say something interesting. and got some nice effects too. so overall, very fun.
there was no other ride in madasgascar other than carousel, so we just moved on to far, far away (the shrek one). the best attraction there was the 4D movie, which is basically a 3D movie, and the chair moves, and theres water spraying and wind blowing sometimes. the movie was short, but the story was not bad. basically shrek needs to go somewhere, but the ghost of farquaad (that short king guy who was suppose to marry fiona) captured fiona and so he rescued her.
the 3D effects was damn good, like really use it well unlike some bad 3D movies. theres also a lot of effects, like the donkey galloping, donkey sneezing at you and water sprays out (lol), dragons flying, fireballs. it felt damn real and so i actually reacted to the sneezing and the fireballs and a lot of other ppl did too. the most disgusting effect was the spiders, like one pop out first. that was ok, then many others popped out, and then their strings broke and the air blow on your leg such that the spiders seem to fall on your legs XD. many ppl shouted for that one LOL.
took one very nice photo of the lights inside, like in my opinion that picture is like damn nice man. im probably lucky or maybe that photography book is really damn good...

after that, we ate lunch at some chicken store and bought 3 buckets of chicken LOL. not bad la, but we couldnt finish, so we took home some. my cousin also confirmed that he couldnt come, so we had an extra ticket. was thinking of calling ppl, but jia min, chee, jookee nvr pick up. fiona is probably busy plus i dun dare invite a girl over (sry), and lee went just last week. i called pin but he got tuition, and my cousin's friends also dao him LOL. so we sold the ticket (adult) at $70. small loss of $2.
after that we went to the lost world. there were like 3 rides there, so it was completely full house. we gave up on rafting cos wait 80 mins o.O, and me and my cousin dont dare take the roller coaster (it was actually more like flying fox that goes in circles, so they took the pterodactyls one. long wait, so i dint take it, but my cousin did. i went to take photos instead, and my maid is friends with the other maid, esthur, so they went to take with the dinosaur fossil. damn epic poses, like esthur was pretending to struggle with the dinosaur by pulling its teeth XD (its made of rubber). they really got some funny poses, so very fun to take them.
went egypt after that. damn freakin hot there, probably cos less trees (dunno whether on purpose). there was some really huge anubis outside the revenge of the mummy ride, which was like a star ride, but i dont dare >.< the other was crap, like u drive some really slow jeep and ur being forced to drive a path by the tracks o.O, so we posed again. hard to explain some, ill just make picture post next time.
after that went sci-fi city. seriously thats the worst place, cos got battlestar galactica, and basically i kindof got shocked at how fast the roller coasters were moving and the insane drops. u can hear like the speed and force cos the whole track was like rumbling, seriously. the blue one is the worst, like half the time ur upside down, and the loop is damn scary. so i took photos of it instead, and quite cool when two coasters move at same time. they keep surrounding each other or something, so quite nice to watch it.
went new york after that. ate snacks there, and got some funny pics too, like my cousin sitting on the stone lion in some sort of bank or mimicking some muscleman XD. they told him to strip too 8D. then got some hat shop and we took some seriously awesome photos there. the setting were somehow perfect, so i completely dun need adjust. hard to explain again, so ill do that in picture post.
after that we just walked around before deciding to go home. we went in hotel to wait for the cars to drive up and got one sumo-looking version of adam and eve LOL, but obviously id never take that (really). got some nice video of some team of glass blowers who are really professional. like they make some baby's head in a few seconds, then merge it with something or cut or all that. thats quite a cool completition.
anyway, my aunt, my mum and me went to simei to eat at foodfare (the NTUC one). and then did some shopping. suppose to print some pictures, but the store was closed, so we went home.
